The Process
Step 1 - Prep and Clean
We first clean and degrease all areas of the concrete as thoroughly as possible, to accept acid stains or water based stains.
Almost all colors and finishes can be achieved by etched in stone depending on the age, concrete mix and condition of existing concrete.

Step 2 – Stain
The staining process is applied like a faux finish or it's sprayed on for a random pattern or a solid look. Effects that can be simulated are flagstone, slate, brick, paver stone, or random. THE SKY'S THE LIMIT!

Step 3 - Custom Design
Patterns or designs are incised, engraved or cut into the concrete. Designs are NOT limited to standard designs or patterns. Unique logos or custom design concepts can be added to your site to make it truly your own.

Step 4 – Sealer
After the surface has been cleaned, stained and cut or engraved we again wash the surface and apply a durable weather resistant UV SEALER that extends your concrete surface life. You will be supplied with an aftercare information sheet that will help in maintaining your new decorative concrete enhancement.
Let us make suggestions or create a look that fits your style. We are familiar with the capabilities that can enhance your decorative concrete and create that CURB APPEAL you're seeking.

* Etched-in-stone will attempt to remove existing stains in concrete to the best of our abilities but, not all stains can be removed or a shadow stain still remains. The stains that cannot be removed, or leave a shadow in the concrete may effect the final stain or appearance of the enhancement. Etched-in-stone will not be held responsible.
